Lab-Robot GEL Inspection
Microptik is proud to present a novel technology to characterize gels in plastic films.
The technology, integrated into our Lab-Robot system, allows convenient bench top analysis of imperfections in plastic films. After placing a film into the system, the operator can click with one mouse click to a certain area. The system will move that area of the film to a set of optics, i.e. a high magnification lens as well as a modulator sensor. Both units reveal features of the defect (gel) which can not be seen by any conventional microscopic system. The Microptik Gel characterizing system is a must for any major plastic producing company to use as a convenient trouble shooter to where the origin lies of the artifact in the production process. With the sophisticated sofware on board, databases can be build to store very specific images and also to relate these with an expert system to help to improve the production processes.
Modulation unit for contrast enhancement between gel and matrix.
The images aqcuired with our proprietary modulation technology are of unmatched quality in terms of contrast between the inhomogeneity and the matrix. The following images reveal the unique features of these images.
In our Lab-robot Gel Characterization sytem, the modulation unit is integrated and a matorized stand provides the ability to inspect all points of interest on a film. We also provide a haull off system to pull a film through the analyzer and hence inspect all relevant defects.
Image analysis software can be used to monitor defects in accordance to the recipy of the client.
